An eVoucher is an electronic voucher for an upgrade to a higher travel class.


For example, if you book a standard ticket for a flight in Economy Class within Europe, you could travel in Business Class by redeeming an eVoucher for an upgrade.

 

As soon as you achieve Senator or HON Circle Member status, you receive two or six eVouchers respectively. You will receive this number of eVouchers again when you renew your status.1 You can also choose eVouchers as part of the Select benefits scheme.

 

As soon as an eVoucher is available for you, we will notify you in the Miles & More Newsletter, and the eVoucher will be displayed in your mileage account.

 

eVouchers are valid for 24 months.

 

Incidentally, none of your eVouchers will expire until 31.03.2024. This also applies to eVouchers that were re-credited after the cancellation of a flight.

Your benefits

eVouchers can be redeemed with all Star Alliance partners - depending on the destination, airline, travel class and booking class.

With an eVoucher, you can fly one class higher on international flights within an award region.

On long-haul flights, one to three eVouchers can be redeemed for an upgrade - depending on the destination, airline, travel class and booking class.2

eVouchers are valid for 24 months.

None of your eVouchers will expire until 31.03.2024.

This is how to redeem your eVoucher

There are a variety of different ways to redeem eVouchers:

 

  • Directly online when booking your upgrade award
  • By telephone via your local Service Team
  • At many of our airline partners when you check in at the airport

 

Good to know: once used, eVouchers are automatically deducted from your mileage account. We add your upgrade electronically to your flight booking in our booking system. You do not require any additional flight documents for this.

Please note that the respective number of eVouchers is only credited to your account after your new Senator service card or your HON Circle Member card has been issued. They cannot be awarded before this - for example, because you have already met all the conditions for retaining your status.
