Get your miles added retroactively
With Miles & More, it's easy to get award and status miles credited to you retroactively for up to 6 months using a retroactive mileage credit. Select the airline, hotel or rental car partner, service provider or partner shop, and apply for the credit online or in the app. The miles will land in your mileage account very soon.
Retroactive mileage credits for flights
Award and status miles can also be credited retroactively for flights taken up to 6 months in the past. This even applies if you were not a Miles & More member at the time of your flight. Apply for the credit using thbe online form on our website or in our app under “More > Mileage credit > Fights”, and watch your mileage account balance grow.

Log in and open the online form for a retroactive mileage credit.
Select the airline you used and complete the form.
Your miles will be credited to your mileage account once the details have been checked.

Keep hold of your boarding pass or booking number.
Open the service “Mileage credit > Flights” under “More” in the app.
You can either scan the bar code on the boarding pass with your camera or upload a photo of your boarding pass.
Your miles will be credited to your mileage account once the details have been checked.
Retroactive mileage credits with partner companies
If you didn't have your service card number to hand for your Online Shopping, hotel stay or rental car, don't worry: you can also get these award miles retroactively. Select the relevant Miles & More partner on the online form, apply for the credit and enjoy the extra miles in your mileage account.

Please note the following information about retroactive mileage credits
Please retain your receipts (e.g. boarding pass, ticket, rental car or partner receipt) until the miles have been credited to your account.
Please check your mileage account again before requesting a retroactive mileage credit.
Miles that are not automatically credited to your account can be credited to you retroactively within 6 months of your purchase.
Miles will only be credited automatically after you have used the service.
For flights, it can take up to 7 days after your flight is completed for the automatic mileage credit to be finalised. Please only submit your applications for a retroactive mileage credit after this period has elapsed.
With Online Shopping partners and shopping partners, the automatic mileage credit may be made several weeks after your purchase, depending on the partner company (e.g. once the returns period has expired). Please only submit your applications for a retroactive mileage credit after this period has elapsed.
With credit card partners, the automatic mileage credit is generally processed a few days after your credit card has been charged. Please only submit your applications for a retroactive mileage credit after this period has elapsed.
With hotel partners, the automatic mileage credit is generally made up to 14 days after you have checked out. Please only submit your applications for a retroactive mileage credit after this period has elapsed.
With mobility partners, the automatic mileage credit is generally made up to 14 days after you have used the service. Please only submit your applications for a retroactive mileage credit after this period has elapsed.
