Redeem miles for flight awards and upgrades2

You can use the award miles you have earned for a flight award. Select your dream destination, and redeem your miles when you book. Or treat yourself to an upgrade to a higher booking class. Lean back, and enjoy your flight.

It works like this

Select your flight award on our website or in our app.
2.

Book your flight award, and redeem your award miles.
3.

Enjoy your flight award.

Offset your CO2 footprint with miles

You can use your miles to protect the climate in our app. Simply offset your flight-based CO2 footprint by donating miles to “myclimate”, or for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

It works like this

1.

Open the app, and enter your login details.
2.

Go to “Latest” at the top, then select “My Challenge” and open “mindfulflyer”.
3.

Click on “Offset flights”, and select one or all of your flights.
4.

Choose how to offset your CO2 footprint, select the use of award miles, then confirm the payment.
5.

You will receive a virtual badge that you can share on social media to motivate others to join in.

Redeem miles on your travels

Treat yourself to a dream holiday by redeeming your award miles for a rental car or hotel with our partner companies. Go to the Redeem miles section and look for an offer that suits you from a hotel or rental car partner, and make even more of your trip.

It works like this

Choose your travel partner on our website or in our app. You will be forwarded directly to the partner website of your choice.
2.

Book your hotel or rental car offer, and use your award miles.
3.

Enjoy your dream award.

It works like this with Hotels & Cars by Points

1.

Open the Hotels & Cars by Points portal on our website. You will be redirected right away.
2.

Choose your offer. You can use your award miles for the whole amount or part of it.
3.

Enjoy your dream award.

Use your award miles to support aid projects undertaken by help alliance, the Lufthansa Group’s charitable organisation. Donate your miles to help provide schooling for children in Africa and India, or medical care for families, for example.

It works like this

1.

Select the project on our website that you would like to donate your award miles to.
2.

Log in with your service card number, and enter the number of miles you wish to donate.
3.

Your donation will go straight to the project of your choice through help alliance.

Further information about redeeming miles

How long are my Miles & More award miles valid for?

Award miles are valid for 36 months from the date of being acquired. Unused miles expire at the end of the relevant quarter. We will inform you about mileage expiry in the following ways:

 

  • The miles that are due to expire at the end of the current quarter and at the end of the following quarter are shown in your online statement.
  • You will receive a summary of all the miles that are due to expire at the end of the current quarter approximately two months in advance in your online newsletter. You can subscribe to the newsletter here.

    Here is an example: you took a flight from Frankfurt to New York on 12.12.2021. The miles you earned for this flight will expire 36 months later at the end of the quarter, i.e. on 31.12.2024.

Where can I find the current Worldshop catalogue?

Browse through the current Worldshop awards catalogue, which you can find online as a PDF file. This catalogue will show a wide range of merchandise awards you can get in the Worldshop by using the award miles you have earned, or with Cash & Miles (euros + miles).

How can I book a flight award?

The quickest way to get your flight award ticket is by booking online via the Miles & More website. Here you will find flight connections with almost all our airline partners that you can book straight away.

 

Your Miles & More Service Team will, of course, be happy to help you make a reservation. If you wish to book over the phone, please have your PIN to hand for security purposes.
