Enjoy the option of flying home sooner – rebook onto an earlier flight free of charge
Sometimes an appointment ends earlier than planned, leaving you with more than enough time until your return flight. As a HON Circle Member, you can rebook onto an earlier flight free of charge on Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS flights within Europe, provided a seat is available in the travel class booked and the route is the same. This will allow you to free up valuable time for yourself.
Here’s what to keep in mind when rebooking:
The same operating carrier must be used.
You can only rebook free of charge on the day of departure on European flights with Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS.
If no alternative flights are displayed, this means that no flight is available and rebooking is not an option.
This offer applies to all Economy Class and Business Class fares, except Economy Basic and Economy Light.
Last-minute rebooking at the gate is possible only if flying with hand luggage.
Unfortunately, travel companions aren’t eligible for this service.
Rebooking a flight with multiple segments, for example FRA–VIE–PRG, is only an option if all segments can be rebooked.
At the following airports, rebooking is currently only possible at the check-in counter or at the gate: Burgas (Bulgaria); Dubrovnik, Osijek, Pula, Rijeka, Split and Zadar (Croatia); Dortmund and Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden (Germany); Eindhoven and Rotterdam (Netherlands); Fort-de-France (Martinique, France); Liège (Belgium); Savonlinna (Finland); Podgorica and Tivat (Montenegro); Tirana (Albania); Ovda/Eilat (Israel).
