Companion Award Flight: 50% off Award Flights for your travel companion
This benefit is called a Companion Award Flight and applies to anyone added to your Award Flight booking.
Increased free baggage allowance
As a HON Circle Member, you can fly with more baggage on many airlines. Please check with your airline for detailed information about baggage allowances.
Priority baggage
As a HON Circle Member, your checked bags are given priority and will be amongst the first to arrive on the baggage carousel after landing.
Free additional golf bag
Travel with selected Miles & More airline partners and in certain travel classes with an additional golf bag.
Increased availability on Award Flights
Until 14 days prior to departure, you and up to three travel companions enjoy the best availability when booking Award Flights, providing the required number of seats is available for purchase in your chosen travel class (Economy, Premium Economy or Business Class) on a flight with Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City or SWISS.¹
Your three companions must travel with you in the same travel class.
Fly Smart Award Flights can be booked within 14 days of departure. The guaranteed availability on Award Flights therefore does not apply to Fly Smart Award Flights.
Senator partner card
On request, we’ll award your spouse or partner Senator status for as long as you remain a HON Circle Member.
Personal assistant service
On departure and arrival at the First Class terminal in Frankfurt, in the First Class Lounges in Frankfurt and Munich as well as at other airports, a personal assistant will accompany you and discreetly deal with all formalities.
Unlimited mileage validity
As long as you remain a status member, your miles won’t expire, meaning you can save them for something special.

Priority reservations waitlist
Enjoy the highest waiting list priority on fully booked flights whenever you fly with Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Discover Airlines, ITA Airways, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City and SWISS. This does not apply to upgrades and Award Flights.
Booking guarantee on fully booked flights up to 24 hours prior to departure
Book a flight in the highest booking class in Business Class, Premium Economy or Economy Class up to 24 hours prior to departure. You’ll then receive a confirmed booking in your chosen travel class even on fully booked flights.²
In booking class J in Business Class on flights operated by Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Discover Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City and SWISS. In booking class C with Croatia Airlines and LOT Polish Airlines.
The booking guarantee can be used in class G in Premium Economy Class on Austrian Airlines, Discover Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS. The booking guarantee is valid in booking class P in Premium Economy Class on flights operated by LOT Polish Airlines.
In booking class Y in Economy Class on flights operated by Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Discover Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City and SWISS.
Free advance seat reservation
As a HON Circle Member, you can reserve a seat free of charge on flights operated by Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Discover Airlines, ITA Airways, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City and SWISS in all booking classes (bookings in Economy Light on short-haul flights and the Lufthansa Allegris products Business Class Suite and Suite Plus are excluded).
An advance of up to 100,000 miles
As a HON Circle Member, you can temporarily overdraw your Miles & More account by up to 100,000 miles.
Extra Benefits
When you achieve a certain number of HON Circle Points per calendar year, you automatically receive additional benefits, such as upgrade vouchers and a Frequent Traveller partner card including miles or mileage packages.
Status Events
As a status customer with more than 10,000 Qualifying Points, you’ll benefit from exclusive invitations to premium experiences, known as Status Events.
HON Circle status card and bag tags
When you qualify as a HON Circle Member, you get a black status card that is valid for at least one year, as well as high-quality black bag tags.
How to become a HON Circle Member
To achieve or renew your HON Circle status, you need to earn at least 6,000 HON Circle Points in a calendar year. You can view your current progress under your status in your Miles & More account at any time.
The simple and transparent earning system lets you quickly see how many HON Circle Points you’ll earn towards HON Circle status for a flight.
Fly more sustainably, and achieve status faster
Offset your flights’ carbon emissions during the booking process, until shortly before departure or retroactively. As an incentive from us, you’ll earn miles and up to 20% more HON Circle Points for your flights.
