With Miles & More, it’s easy to get Miles and Points credited to you retroactively for up to 6 months by submitting a credit request. Select the airline, hotel, car rental partner, service provider or partner shop, and request the credit online or in the app. The Miles and Points will be credited to your Miles & More account shortly thereafter.
Retroactive credit request for flights
Miles and Points for flights up to 6 months ago will be credited to you retroactively. This applies even if you were not a Miles & More member at the time of your flight. Submit a credit request using the online form on our website or in our app under “More > Credit Miles and Points > Flights”, and watch your Miles & More account balance grow.

Log in and open the online form to submit a retroactive credit request.
Select the relevant airline, and complete the form.
The Miles and Points will be credited to your Miles & More account once your details have been checked.

Keep your boarding pass or booking number.
Open the app, tap “More” in the main navigation, then select “Credit Miles and Points > Flights”.
You can either scan the bar code on your boarding pass with your camera or upload a photo of your boarding pass.
The Miles and Points will be credited to your Miles & More account once your details have been checked.
Retroactive mileage credits with partners
If you didn’t have your service card number to hand for Online Shopping, your hotel stay or your car rental, no problem. You can also get these miles credited retroactively. Select the relevant Miles & More partner on the online form, submit a credit request, and enjoy the additional miles in your Miles & More account.

Please note the following when requesting a retroactive credit
Please keep your receipts (e.g. boarding pass, ticket, car rental or partner receipt) until the Miles and Points have been credited to your account.
Please check your account again before requesting a retroactive credit.
Miles and Points that are not automatically credited to your account can be credited to you retroactively within 6 months.
They will only be credited automatically after you have used the service.
For flights, it can take up to 7 days after your flight for the Miles and Points to be automatically credited. Please only submit a request for a retroactive credit after this period has elapsed.
When shopping with partners through the Online Shopping portal or in-store, it may take up to several weeks (depending on the partner) after your purchase for your miles to be credited automatically (e.g. once the returns period has expired). Please only submit a request for a retroactive credit after this period has elapsed.
With credit card partners, miles are generally credited automatically a few days after your credit card has been charged. Please only submit a request for a retroactive credit after this period has elapsed.
With hotel partners, miles are generally credited automatically up to 14 days after you have checked out. Please only submit a request for a retroactive credit after this period has elapsed.
With car rental partners, miles are generally credited automatically up to 14 days after you have used the service. Please only submit a request for a retroactive credit after this period has elapsed.

How do I book an Award Flight?
The quickest way to get your Award Flight Ticket is by booking online via the Miles & More website. You’ll find flight connections with almost all of our airline partners, and you can book them straight away.
Your Miles & More Service Team is of course also happy to help you with your booking. To book over the phone, please have your PIN ready for identification purposes.

How long does it take for my Miles and Points to appear in my Miles & More account?
The time it takes for Miles or Points to be credited depends on whether the credit request is for a flight, hotel stay, car rental booking or purchase. Our partners send us credit requests on a regular basis.
How can I earn Miles and Points on flights?
To earn Miles and Points on flights with our many airline partners, please quote your Miles & More service card number when booking. You must fly in order to receive the credit. Paying for the trip alone is not sufficient.
Certain booking classes do not entitle you to earn Miles and Points with Miles & More. We recommend visiting our airline pages before making a reservation.
If all conditions are met, your Miles and Points will be credited automatically within 7 working days of departure.
