Hello, how can we help you?

Can I have Miles and Points for flights credited retroactively?

You can have Miles and Points for a flight credited retroactively, providing that the flight was taken no longer than 6 months ago and that you have details such as the flight and ticket number. You can use these to apply for a retroactive credit for flights simply by filling in our online form. You won’t need to submit any documents. Do check your Miles & More account first; it can sometimes take up to 7 days from departure for automatic mileage credits for airline partners to go through. To make a credit request, you’ll need the date, flight number, route, travel class and ticket number. For some airline partners, you’ll also need your boarding pass. Once these details have been successfully verified, you’ll then receive your retroactive credit.
You can find out more about how to apply for retroactive credits on our website.

The Miles & More app makes crediting Miles and Points retroactively even easier.

  1. Go to “More” in the navigation bar.
  2. Select “Credit Miles and Points”, then select “Flights”.
  3. Choose one of the available options to enter your flight details.
  4. Complete the appropriate fields and/or upload a photo of your boarding pass.

Please note that you can only have your own Miles and Points for flights retroactively credited. The relevant ticket must be issued to the person logged in.
