While we were there, we dined together the next day and explored the delights of the city. These days we’re a very happy couple, jetting off around the world whenever we get the chance. But first we had to wait for our checked-in luggage to be unloaded. Due to our quick change of plans though, we were the first at the check-in desk. And sure enough, a driver in a small Nissan answered our call, excited for the drive of his life. So we set off on the three-hour journey to Mexico City in the small Uber, the two of us on the backseat with a suitcase sandwiched between us. Despite the 30-degree heat inside the car, we passed the time in lively conversation, so that by the end of the long drive, we’d gained a new customer in Buenos Aires and laid the foundation for a wonderful friendship.
