There could be several reasons for this: either you have not yet signed into lufthansa.com with your login details, or you have not yet reached the required mileage amount of at least 3,000 award miles. Cash & Miles is also not yet available in all markets.

Cash & Miles enables you to use your accrued award miles to pay for a flight in full or in part. The airfare is calculated based on the total ticket price, including taxes, fees and surcharges. Cash & Miles cannot be used to purchase upgrades. These can be purchased via the usual option of booking an upgrade directly via Miles & More at www.miles-and-more.com.

Flights are a sought-after award in the Miles & More programme. They are at the top of the list in our members’ estimation of value. We provide an attractive flight offer for a consistent mileage amount with the flight awards already available in the Miles & More programme. However, the number of flight awards available is limited. Our flight awards are sometimes sold out, especially at certain seasonal peak periods – such as during holiday times. 
 
With Cash & Miles we offer you an additional option for redeeming accrued award miles. You can now redeem your award miles in full or in part on lufthansa.com for any standard flight with a Star Alliance member airline and for flights with Eurowings and Eurowings Discover, thereby reducing the proportion of your airline ticket that you pay for in cash. The ticket conditions are also identical to those of a normal airline ticket. The Cash & Miles calculation is based on the ticket price on the day of booking. This price is converted into miles. The number of miles required also depends on the flight, service class and the number of miles used. 
 
Cash & Miles should be seen as an addition to flight awards and the current awards table. With its introduction, we have created another option for redeeming miles for flights in the Miles & More programme.
