Redeem miles for Award Flights and upgrades2
You can use the miles you’ve earned for an Award Flight. Simply select your dream destination, and redeem your miles when you book. Alternatively, you can treat yourself to an upgrade to a higher booking class, then lean back and enjoy your flight.

Offset your flights’ carbon emissions with miles
In our app or on our website, you can use your miles to offset the calculated carbon emissions from your past flights flexibly with our carbon-offsetting packages.
It works like this
Open our app, or enter your login details on our website.
In the Miles & More app, go to “My Challenge” and select the “mindfulflyer” option, or start the carbon-offsetting process directly on our website.
Select the flight for which you’d like to offset carbon.
Choose one of the available carbon-offsetting packages, and redeem your miles.
Redeem miles on your travels
Treat yourself to a dream holiday by redeeming miles for a rental car or hotel with one of our partners. Go to the Spend miles section, find the perfect offer from one of our hotel or rental car partners, and make even more of your trip.

Use your miles to support projects undertaken by help alliance, the charitable aid organisation of the Lufthansa Group. Donate miles, for example, to help provide schooling for children in Africa and India or medical care for families.

Log in with your service card number, and enter the number of miles you wish to donate.
Your donation will go straight to the project of your choice through help alliance.

More about redeeming miles
How long are my Miles & More miles valid?
Miles are valid for 36 months from the date you earn them. Unused miles expire at the end of the relevant quarter. Here’s how we’ll let you know when your miles are about to expire:
- The miles that are due to expire at the end of the current and following quarter are shown on your online statement.
- Subscribe to our online newsletter to receive a summary of all the miles that are due to expire at the end of the current quarter approximately two months in advance.
Here’s an example: you took a flight from Frankfurt to New York on 12.12.2021. The miles you earned for this flight will expire after 36 months at the end of the next quarter, so on 31.12.2024.

Browse through the current Worldshop awards catalogue, which you’ll find online as a PDF. Here you’ll discover a wide range of Worldshop merchandise awards you can get with the miles you’ve earned, or with Cash & Miles (euros + miles).
How do I book an Award Flight?
The quickest way to get your Award Flight Ticket is by booking online via the Miles & More website. You’ll find flight connections with almost all of our airline partners, and you can book them straight away.
Your Miles & More Service Team is of course also happy to help you with your booking. To book over the phone, please have your PIN ready for identification purposes.
