You can also request flight, upgrade or merchandise awards for family members, friends or acquaintances from your Miles & More account.
With flight and upgrade awards, it’s not necessary for you to travel with them.

It’s therefore generally possible to share awards with third parties in your circle of friends and family free of charge. The selling, exchanging or auctioning of awards is prohibited.

Tip: if you don’t have enough miles in your account for the awards you wish to give, members from Germany, Austria or Switzerland have the option of setting up a mileage pool with friends or family so that they can earn and redeem miles together.
