Extend the validity of your expiring award miles with Extend Miles by Loylogic

Big goals sometimes take a little more time. Extend the validity of your expiring award miles with Extend Miles by Loylogic. Miles that are due to expire are protected for a further 36 months in exchange for a transaction fee. Register with Loylogic using your Miles & More login, select the number of expiring award miles, pay the transaction fee, and the selected miles will be available to you for another three years.

What is Extend Miles?

Extend Miles is a service provided jointly with our partner Loylogic that allows you to extend the validity of award miles that are due to expire in exchange for a transaction fee. This is only possible for award miles due to expire in the current quarter. You must renew a minimum of 500 award miles.

 

There are several mileage amounts starting from 500 -M- to choose from.

 

Renewed award miles are then protected from expiry for a full 36 months.

To mileage renewal

It works like this

1.

Log into Mileage Services by Loylogic using your Miles & More login. Click on the Extend Miles service.
2.

Select the number of award miles you wish to renew in the drop-down menu. Pay the transaction fee by credit or debit card.
3.

The renewed award miles will firstly be deducted from your mileage account and then re-credited with the new expiry date within one to three working days.

What exactly is Extend Miles?

There are various specific award mile amounts that you can protect from expiry with Extend Miles at fixed transaction fees. The renewed award miles will then be valid for a further 36 months.

How do I know that my award miles are due to expire?

The date and the number of award miles that are due to expire will be displayed separately in your Miles & More account information, or in your personal mileage account, at least one quarter before the expiry date in question.

What happens if I do not redeem the renewed award miles?

If the renewed award miles are not redeemed for an award within 36 months of the renewal, they will expire at the end of the next quarter, unless a later deadline is announced through the Miles & More communication channels.

Can I cancel the renewal?

An Extend Miles transaction cannot be reversed. The transaction fee is non-refundable. Transaction fees may change over time.

What payment methods are available?

The Extend Miles transaction fee can be paid by credit or debit card. Mastercard, Diners Club, American Express and Visa credit cards are accepted.

Am I liable to incur additional fees?

Additional card processing fees may be charged by the relevant financial institution, depending on the country and currency. Please contact your financial institution directly if you have any questions.
