Deutsche Kreditbank AG: a bank with responsibility

We place great importance on corporate action and sustainability: that’s why we use more than 83% of our balance sheet total for lending, for example for the construction of age-appropriate and family housing, energy-efficient properties, outpatient and inpatient healthcare institutions and for building projects in schools and children’s day-care nurseries in Germany. We secure the competitiveness of the domestic agricultural economy by investing in production infrastructure and bioenergy. And since as far back as 1996 we have been financing numerous renewable energy projects in wind, solar and hydro power.

What does “free anywhere in the world” actually mean?
As a general rule, all new customers who open a DKB Cash account are granted active customer status for one year. This means they can benefit by using their DKB Visa card to make payments and withdraw money from cash machines worldwide free of charge. Active customer status is maintained providing the customer pays in a minimum monthly amount of 700 euros.

DKB AG does not charge customers for any payments and cash withdrawals made with the DKB Visa card in euros within the eurozone.

In addition, DKB AG does not charge active customers for payments and cash withdrawals made outside the eurozone or in other currencies. Customers without active status will be charged an international usage fee of 1.75% of the sum withdrawn for these transactions.

For all customers, cash withdrawals are also subject to a minimum transaction amount of 50 euros (or the foreign currency equivalent). Customers who choose the mini-cash option, which is subject to a fee, can withdraw amounts of less than 50 euros (or the foreign currency equivalent) from cash machines.

Note: traders or operators of cash machines may charge additional usage fees. DKB has no say in that. DKB does not refund any such fees.
