Special flight awards – so that you can make the most of your miles
Sometimes, a simple flight award for the outbound and return flights doesn’t fit perfectly into your travel plans – if that’s the case, we offer you the possibility to spend your award miles on special flight awards. For example, if you are planning a world trip or if you’re travelling with children, then you’re on the right page.
One-way flight award
A standard flight award always includes outbound and return flights. The one-way flight award gives you the option to fly one route only in exchange for only 50% of the award miles that you’d spend on a standard flight award.
Children’s flight award
Children aged between two and eleven years fly more cheaply. If you book a flight award for a child, you spend only 75% of the award miles required for the corresponding flight award.
3-region flight award
If you want a flight award that allows you to use a stopover for a longer stay, you have the option of booking a 3-region flight award.
“Round the World” flight awards
Fly once round the world with your miles. The Star Alliance “Round the World” flight award makes it possible for you to completely circumnavigate the globe.
