The operating carrier is the airline that operates the flight between a departure point and a destination and also the airline with which you request the retroactive mileage credit. Under certain agreements between airlines (the so-called codeshares), two or more airlines share a scheduled flight, with each airline operating it under its own flight number. In the ticket itself, the flight number issued to you will be noted. This does not necessarily have to be the flight number of the airline operating the flight. Should the airline code be different from the operating carrier, please select from Partners the airline that is the operating airline.
