New York JFK: SWISS to have a new home in Terminal 1
In February, SWISS is changing to Terminal 1 for arrivals and departures.
From 1 February, all SWISS flights will arrive at and depart from Terminal 1. This also applies to the other partner airlines in the Lufthansa Group. The reason for the relocation from Terminal 4 to Terminal 1 is the new assignment of the gates by JFK airport, which affects other airlines as well as SWISS. The usual exclusive customer experience SWISS will do its utmost to ensure that the customary high standard of service is also assured at its new home at JFK airport. In Terminal 1, travellers will have the benefit of shorter routes between check-in, security checks, the lounges and the gates. In addition, all travellers will be able to enjoy the extensive shopping offers that are the perfect opportunity for those last-minute purchases before departure. Passengers in SWISS First and SWISS Business and frequent flyers also have the benefit of a Fast-Track security check. Extensive range of lounges The Lufthansa Business Class Lounge offers our SWISS Business guests and Frequent Travellers an elegant haven of peace at the heart of the bustle of JFK airport. Senators and Star Alliance Gold members can also enjoy the culinary delights on offer in the exclusive Lufthansa Senator Lounge. For a first-class travel experience that leaves nothing to be desired, the doors to the Lufthansa First Class Lounge in Terminal 1 are open to our SWISS First guests and HON Circle Members. These passengers also have the benefit of Fast Track security checks, separate VIP security checks and an escort service. |
