Miles & More and “Uplyft” launch a new partner offer for small and medium-sized companies

With the new self-service platform Uplyft, companies can register with just a few clicks for a partnership with Miles & More and give their customers award miles.

A customer retention and acquisition platform that enables fast access to the Miles & More programme

Frankfurt am Main, 9 October 2018 – From today, Miles & More is offering small and medium-sized companies a simple way to become a programme partner. Anyone interested can register on the “Uplyft” self-service platform and apply to be a partner. With only a few clicks, the portal developed by the Fanmiles start-up enables companies to give award miles for their products and services in order to acquire new customers and retain their loyalty. In addition, the tool enables partners to integrate the programme themselves into all touchpoints that are relevant to their business.

Managing the partnership with self-service

Thanks to the digital self-service portal, complex IT integration is unnecessary. Instead, partners can integrate a standardised API directly into their shop software – native integration into existing apps and platforms is also possible. In retail stores, partners can give their customers an award miles credit via an app on their smartphone or tablet.

“Uplyft has made integration into our programme significantly easier for small and medium-sized companies”, said Benjamin Pfeifer, Associate Director Acquisition at Miles & More GmbH. “Partners gain access to the discerning, quality-conscious members of our programme and are able to give their customers award miles.”

The platform was developed by the Fanmiles loyalty network. Managing Director, Fabian Schmidt, explained: “Uplyft is the result of the specialist knowledge and experience that we have been able to gather with Fanmiles. In collaboration with Miles & More, we seek to give SMEs easier access to Europe’s leading frequent flyer and awards programme.”

“With this new offer, a product that is not only technologically but also economically innovative is being launched on the market. The fully automated self-service platform means that customer retention can be efficiently run via Miles & More”, added Alan Sternberg, also a Managing Director at Fanmiles GmbH.

Uplyft is launched with its first partners

At the launch of the Uplyft platform, five new partners will be expanding the Miles & More network and offering members additional high-end services and products via the platform:

with a fleet network in over 100 countries, Talixo is one of the world’s leading taxi and airport transfer providers in the business customer segment. Miles & More members earn one award mile for every euro spent with Talixo.

Evaneos is the leading online market place for individual travel worldwide. Miles & More members also earn one award mile for every euro spent with Evaneos.

The B2B online booking platform for long-term business apartments, Homelike, is directed at companies, business travellers and expats. Miles & More members earn between 100 and 500 award miles monthly for their stay depending upon the service package chosen.

Atheneum Partnersufuwbcquasdwyyctawdw is one of the world’s leading B2B expert networks.
Miles & More members can earn up to 100,000 award miles per year for expert interviews.

The fashion and lifestyle specialist EGO_IST operates five premium fashion and mono-brand stores with exclusive branded fashion and special lifestyle products for both men and women. Miles & More members earn one award mile for every euro spent on a business or casual outfit.

“With this new offer, a product that is not only technologically but also economically innovative is being launched on the market. The fully automated self-service platform means that customer retention can be efficiently run via Miles & More”, added Alan Sternberg, also a Managing Director at Fanmiles GmbH.

About Fanmiles and the Uplyft platform

Fanmiles GmbH was founded in Berlin in 2013 by Fabian Schmidt and Alan Sternberg. The loyalty self-service platform called "Uplyft", developed by Fanmiles itself, makes it possible for small and medium-sized companies to become future Miles & More partners. Since 2016, Fanmiles GmbH has itself been operating its own eponymous loyalty currency, which users collect at leading sports and entertainment partners, including FC Schalke 04, Electronic Sports League and adidas, to then redeem for exclusive awards.
