Can I earn miles on flights taken by other people?

Miles & More accounts are always personal. This means you can only earn miles on flights you’ve taken yourself, or for other activities such as hotel stays or car rentals.

If you’d still like to benefit from a shared mileage balance as a family or group of friends, you can set up a mileage pool for up to two adults and five children.
All members of a mileage pool contribute to the balance, which the adults can use to order awards. Click here for more detailed information.
