Senator status card and luggage tag
As a Senator, you’ll receive a gold status card that is valid for at least 1 year, plus a high-quality luggage tag.
First Class check-in
As a Senator, a warm welcome awaits you at First Class check-in, even when you have only booked a flight in Economy Class. Please note the check-in deadlines for your chosen travel class.
Access to the Senator Lounge or the Star Alliance Gold Lounge
For relaxing moments before your flight, the Senator Lounge and Star Alliance Gold Lounge are available to you and a companion.

Booking guarantee on already fully-booked flights up to 48 hours before departure
Senators enjoy more flexible booking: book your flight in the booking class of the highest value up to 48 hours before departure and you’ll receive a booking on an already fully-booked flight in the travel class of your choice.¹
On flights with Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS, this is booking class J in Business Class. With Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines and LOT Polish Airlines, the booking guarantee applies in booking class C.
In Premium Economy Class on Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS, the booking guarantee can be used in class G. The booking guarantee is valid in booking class P in Premium Economy Class on flights operated by LOT Polish Airlines.
In Economy Class, the booking guarantee can be used in booking class Y.
Free carriage of an additional golf bag
Travel with selected Miles & More airline partners and in certain travel classes with an additional golf bag.
An advance of up to 50,000 miles
Senators can temporarily overdraw their Miles & More account by up to 50,000 miles.
Unlimited mileage validity
As long as you remain a status member, your miles will not expire, meaning you can save them for something special.
Star Alliance Gold Status
As a Senator, you also have the Star Alliance Gold Status. You’ll also enjoy status benefits on all flights operated by Star Alliance airlines.
Status Events
As a status customer with more than 10,000 Qualifying Points, you benefit from exclusive invitations to premium experiences, known as Status Events.
Extra Benefits
These additional benefits will be awarded automatically when you earn a specific number of Qualifying Points or HON Circle Points in a calendar year, such as Upgrade Voucher, a Frequent Traveller partner card or mileage package.

Complimentary advance seat reservation
As a Senator, you can reserve a seat free of charge on flights operated by Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS in all booking classes (except for “Economy Light” fares on short-haul flights).
