Negative Covid-19 test result and registration of electronic contact details are required before travelling.
From 8 February 2021 onwards, all flight guests must fill in the electronic passenger locator form (ePLF). In addition, people above the age of twelve must submit proof of a negative PCR test result before flying to Switzerland. At the time of departure, the test result may not be older than 72 hours and must be presented at the check-in or at the gate in the departure country. In exceptional cases, a negative Covid-19 antigen rapid test is accepted, taken within 24 hours before flight departure. Upon entry into Switzerland, passengers are required to contact the local health authorities, who may request an additional PCR test. The test is not required for passengers directly transferring onto a flight to another country. Flight guests should note that only a confirmation will be issued when checking in online. The actual boarding pass will be issued at the check-in counter.
SWISS recommends that flight guests allow for additional time and inform themselves in advance of the type of mask that has to be worn on board their flight.
