Miles & More becomes Munich Airport’s loyalty programme
The merger of the strong brands Miles & More, Lufthansa and Flughafen München GmbH means that Miles & More members will benefit from a comprehensive customer experience and a wide range of offers along the travel chain and in the retail sector - including earning and redeeming miles.
Frankfurt am Main, 27. June 2024 – On the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the partnership between Lufthansa and Flughafen München GmbH (FMG), Miles & More GmbH, as an expert in successful customer acquisition and loyalty, joins the partnership and will complete the customer experience along the travel chain and in the retail sector from 1 July 2024. Miles & More members regularly earn one mile for every euro spent in all participating businesses at Munich Airport. At the start of the partnership, members will earn 21 miles for two months.
Many benefits for discerning travellers
The combination of the three strong brands at one of Europe's most important aviation hubs contributes to a more comfortable experience along the travel chain and is geared to the needs of travellers. Miles can now be collected and redeemed in around 40 shops at Munich Airport. From 1 July to 31 August 2024, members can collect 21 miles at the new Munich Loyalty Hub to celebrate 21 years of successful cooperation between Lufthansa and FMG and the cooperation with Miles & More. All members need to do is activate the multiple miles in advance at this link.
In addition to earning and redeeming miles, members also benefit from other promotions such as mileage vouchers when logging on to the airport's Wi-Fi and personalised offers to make travelling even more enjoyable. For example, passengers at Munich Airport can expect special deals if their Lufthansa flight is delayed.
