Renovations at Zurich airport
Zurich Airport is renovating its baggage facilities in Check-in 1 in two phases. After the first phase has been completed this spring, the renovation will enter its second phase starting on 29 October 2024 until spring 2025. During this period, there will again be changes in Check-in 1 and 3. We ask all travellers to follow the signs at the airport for baggage check-in.
For SWISS Economy and SWISS Premium Economy guests, the check-in area will be located at Check-in 3, which is above the railway station in the Airport Shopping area, while the renovations are underway.
The counters at Check-in 1 will continue to be available to SWISS Business and SWISS First passengers. The same applies to HON Circle, Senator and Frequent Traveller guests as well as those of Star Alliance Gold. If arriving by train, a dedicated luggage check-in counter is also available for premium customers in Check-in 3 above the railway station. In all other cases, we recommend using Check-in 1.
Passengers with animals in the hold or unaccompanied minors in all classes of travel are requested to continue using Check-in 1. Check-ins 1 and 3 are available to passengers with limited mobility.
