Hamburg Airport: Earn Miles until take off

From now, Miles & More members are also collecting award miles at northern Germany's largest airport in more than 20 stores and restaurants.

Frankfurt am Main, September 5, 2022 – Under the slogan "Earn Miles until take off," Miles & More members now also earn one award mile per one euro spent at Hamburg Airport in all participating stores, restaurants, cafés and bars. Included are well-known fashion brands such as Marc O'Polo, Wolford and Gant, as well as restaurants such as Gosch Sylt, Starbucks, Sashimi Sushi and Marché. From September 1 to October 31, 2022, the miles account will even be credited with five award miles for every one euro spent.

Earn miles at Hamburg Airport – here's how:

When shopping in a participating partner store, Miles & More members present their (digital) Miles & More service card for scanning. The collected award miles are then credited to the mileage account.

"As Europe's leading loyalty program for mobile people, our greatest concern is to constantly expand our portfolio along the travel chain and make mileage earning possible for our members with relevant partners and at all important touchpoints," says Armin Czapla, Senior Director Partner Sales & Ambient at Miles & More GmbH. "We are now fulfilling this with our new partner Hamburg Airport - the largest and most important airport in northern Germany.”

“The cooperation with Miles & More has come at just the right time. Demand for business travel is on the way back up and the airlines are adjusting their offerings to suit. According to our latest passenger survey, more than a third of our passengers travel upwards of six times a year. The fact that frequent flyers from northern Germany can now earn miles when they shop at Hamburg Airport offers real added value for our passengers and provides a new impetus for shopping. This is a genuine win-win situation,” says Lutz Deubel, Head of Center Management at Hamburg Airport.

With its wide range of stores, restaurants and services, Hamburg Airport is a "city within a city". Around 50 airlines connect Hamburg Airport with 115 national and international non-stop destinations.
