INCREASING DEMAND FOR COOLER DESTINATIONS
Gradually more people are searching for destinations with enjoyable temperatures
Brussels Airlines notes an increasing demand for destinations with lower temperatures in summer months. The Belgian airline transports 12% more passengers to Scandinavia, compared to 2024. In cooperation with travel agency Nordic, Brussels Airlines added Evenes (Norway) to its network, but also destinations like Edinburgh (Scotland) and Bilbao (Spain) are becoming increasingly popular.
