(2) Award Miles: Applicants who are approved for the Premier World and Platinum MasterCard will receive 20,000 award miles after the first use of the new account for a Purchase or Balance Transfer (that is not later returned or rescinded) and have paid the Annual Fee on the account and will receive an additional 30,000 award miles after at least $5,000 in Net Purchases (that are not later returned or rescinded) has been charged to the new account in the first 90 days after account opening. Award miles will be credited to the Miles & More Account at the close of the first billing statement in which the first Purchase or Balance Transfer is made and at the end of the first billing cycle in which the $5,000 Net Purchase threshold is reached. Balance Transfer Checks and Convenience Checks do not qualify for award miles. The Balance Transfer fee is subject to the Balance Transfer Fee set forth in the Terms and Conditions.
