Earn miles when you fly

You earn miles on all scheduled flights operated by US Airways, US Airways Express and US Airways Shuttle.

Please note:

Effective March 30, 2014, our Miles & More partnership with US Airways has ended. As a result, after this date, Miles & More members will be unable to earn miles for travel on US Airways, and will also be ineligible to receive Status Members benefits when flying US Airways.
Members may continue to claim mileage credit for US Airways flights flown on or before March 30, 2014. Credit for these flights must be claimed by September 30, 2014. Award tickets issued on or before March 30, 2014, will continue to be honored by US Airways and are valid for one year from the original date of issue, rebooking on US Airways Flights will not be possible anymore.

How to earn miles with US Airways

Enter your Miles & More card number when you make your booking or simply present it at the check-in.
The number of miles credited depends on the booking class:

  • On international flights, the booking class and the number of distance miles travelled are the determining factors.

3.0 x distance; at least 1,500 miles

Business Class
C, D:
2.0 x distance; at least 1,000 miles
Z: 1.5 x distance; at least 750 miles

Economy Class
B, Y, M:
1.5 x distance; at least 750 miles
H, Q, N, V, W, L, S, P, J: 1.0 x distance; at least 500 miles
T, G, K, U, E, R: 0.5 x distance; at least 500 miles

In general, miles cannot be earned on flight award tickets and on travel-industry discounted tickets
(e.g. ID, AD).
