As a result of growing customer demand, SWISS is extending services on a number of routes with the start of the winter timetable.
Daily flights between Zurich and Bangkok resumed on 25 October 2009. The extra aircraft leaves Zurich every Tuesday, returning from Bangkok on Wednesdays. As on all SWISS flights to the Far East, this route is served by a modern Airbus A340.
As of December, SWISS will again offer daily service on their North American routes: Geneva - New York/JFK and Zurich - Boston. At the same time the frequency of flights between Zurich and New York/JFK will be increased to 13 a week with an additional flight.
Within Europe the service to Berlin is now even more attractive. With the introduction of an additional morning flight on 25 October, SWISS now offers six flights a day from Zurich.
