Living Lakes - for a green planet

Living Lakes, the lakes network of the Global Nature Fund, has been promoting the worldwide conservation and ecological redevelopment of wetlands, lakes and waterways and the surrounding areas since 1998. The aim of this environmental initiative which spans every continent is to preserve the lakes, habitats and drinking water reserves on our earth for future generations.

With Living Lakes you can use your miles to:

Conserve endangered species.
10,000 miles will pay for a snow crane to be ringed and protected in China.
Replant forests.
10,000 miles will pay for five trees to be purchased, planted and looked after on a long-term basis as part of the “Trees for Life” project in South Africa.
Conserve habitats.
10,000 miles will pay to purchase and protect 2,500 m2 of land in the world’s biggest wetland, the Pantanal in Brazil.
