Mobile Check-in: More flexibility

Mobile Check-in

As an enhancement to the already well-established Web Check-in and Kiosk Check-in options and the ability to book a flight and obtain flight information, you can now take care of all check-in formalities by Internet-enabled mobile telephone. Your boarding pass is sent to you via SMS or e-mail, giving you a further option beyond Web Check-in with your computer. Thanks to this technological advance you are no longer required to print out your boarding pass on a printer.

Many benefits, especially for frequent flyers:
  • Check in from any location between 1 and 23 hours before departure.
  • Seat selection.
  • Check-in reminder via e-mail.
  • Separate counter for baggage drop-off.

All stages of the check-in process can now be completed on the way to the airport, which makes for more efficient travel.

Mobile Check-in will initially be available for all flights out of Zurich aside from those to US destinations.
The same service will gradually be introduced at other airports in Switzerland and abroad.
