Miles & More status levels

Anyone with a lot of status miles in their account fares even better - and in greater comfort, faster and with many privileges. The Miles & More programme provides for several different frequent flyer levels, all of which are valid for at least two years.

When you first enroll, you become a Miles & More member. You will receive your regular Miles & More plastic card as soon as you have earned one award mile with one of our Miles & More partners and this has been credited to your mileage account. You will not need your temporary Miles & More paper card any more after that.

Conditions:

  • (1) On scheduled flights operated by Adria Airways, Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines Group, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Germanwings, LOT Polish Airlines, Luxair, Lufthansa, Lufthansa Private Jet, Lufthansa Regional, SWISS and the Star Alliance partners.
  • (2) As of 1 September 2012, HON Circle miles will be earned exclusively on flights in First and Business Class. This applies to all flights operated by Lufthansa, Lufthansa Private Jet, Lufthansa Regional, Adria Airways, Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines/Tyrolean Airways, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Luxair and SWISS. Flights in Economy Class will be awarded with regular status and award miles.
  • (3) For members with a German bank account and / or who are German residents. For holders of a Miles & More Credit Card outside of Germany miles do not expire in certain countries in certain cases. Please find detailed information here.
  • (4) On flights operated by Lufthansa, Lufthansa Private Jet, Lufthansa Regional, Adria Airways, Air Canada, Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines Group, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Luxair, SWISS, United and US Airways.
  • (5) The eVouchers to which you are entitled on attainment or renewal of status will not be credited to your mileage account until your new card has been sent out. In the case of status renewals, this will be after the present card expires. eVouchers are not transferable, but can be spent on accompanying persons.
  • (6) In Business class on all flights operated by Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa Regional, and SWISS booking class J. On Adria Airways, Croatia Airlines and LOT Polish Airlines, booking class C. In Economy class, booking class Y. Austrian Airlines: No booking guarantee on Austrian holiday flights with flight numbers 2000 to 2999 and 9000 to 9999.
  • (7) For flights operated by Adria Airways, Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines Group, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Luxair and SWISS.
  • (8) Frequent Travellers: on scheduled flights operated by Air Dolomiti, Croatia Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines and Luxair. Senators/HON Circle Members: on scheduled flights operated by Air Dolomiti, Croatia Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines and Luxair the following applies: F Class (40) + 20 kg, C Class (30) + 20 kg, Y Class (20) + 20 kg
  • (9) Extra free baggage entitlement on all scheduled flights operated by a Star Alliance partner and Luxair.
  • (10) Weight concept: in addition to the free baggage allowance which currently applies on all scheduled flights operated by Air Dolomiti and Croatia Airlines. This provision does not apply to charter flights. Piece concept: in addition to the free baggage allowance which currently applies on all scheduled flights operated by Adria Airways, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa Private Jet, Lufthansa Regional and SWISS (exception: North Atlantic flights). On flights operated by Adria Airways this regulation also applies to Frequent Travellers. The weight of golf equipment is limited to a maximum of 23 kg.
  • (11) In addition to the free baggage allowance which currently applies on all scheduled flights operated by Adria Airways, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines (only for Senators and HON Circle Members), Lufthansa, Lufthansa Private Jet and Lufthansa Regional (exception: North Atlantic flights).
  • (12) The following applies to flights in First Class or Business Class: access to Lufthansa Business Lounges with a boarding pass valid for that day and airport of departure on Lufthansa, Star Alliance or Lufthansa partner flights. Access to SWISS Business Lounges with a boarding pass valid for that day and airport of departure on SWISS or Star Alliance partner flights. Access to the Austrian Business Lounges specified in Lounge Finder with a boarding pass valid for that day and airport of departure from Austrian Airlines or a Star Alliance partner. Access to LOT Polish Airlines Business Lounges with a boarding pass valid for that day and airport of departure on LOT Polish Airlines or Star Alliance partner flights. Passengers with a Germanwings boarding pass who have a Miles & More Frequent Traveller card may access Lufthansa lounges for a fee of 25 euros. Frequent Travellers who are travelling in Economy Class on a flight operated by one of the Star Alliance airlines, can enjoy their stay at the airport in one of the Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa or SWISS Business Lounges as well as in the lounges belonging to Miles & More partners Brussels Airlines, Luxair* and LOT Polish Airlines. (*Only in connection with a flight operated by Austrian Airlines/Tyrolean Airways, Lufthansa, Luxair or SWISS.) Please note that the current Contract Lounges will no longer be available with effect from 1 September 2012.   • (13) To enter a Lufthansa Senator Lounge you will need your Senator card and a boarding pass for a same-day Lufthansa, Lufthansa codeshare partner, Germanwings or Star Alliance flight. With a boarding pass valid for a same day Lufthansa or Star Alliance flight you also have access to the Star Gold Lounges of our Star Alliance partners. You can take one companion. In addition at Lufthansa Lounges you can also take your own children under the age of 18. Companions must present a valid boarding pass for a same-day Lufthansa / Star Alliance flight and leave the lounge at the same time as the passenger who invited them.
  • (14) Please find detailed information in your personal HON Circle lounge under "First Class Services".
  • (15) On flights operated by Adria Airways, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa Private Jet, Lufthansa Regional and SWISS, the following applies: 2 bags weighing up to 23 kg each (Economy), 2 bags up to 32 kg each (Business), 3 bags up to 32 kg each (First). The following applies on flights operated by LOT Polish Airlines: 2 bags with the maximum weight for the respective class of travel.
  • (16) On flights operated by Adria Airways, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa Private Jet, Lufthansa Regional, SWISS and United Airlines, the following applies: 2 bags weighing up to 23 kg each (Economy), 3 bags up to 32 kg each (Business), 4 bags up to 32 kg each (First). The following applies on flights operated by LOT Polish Airlines: 3 bags with the maximum weight for the respective class of travel.
  • (17) On flights operated by Star Alliance and Luxair with the maximum weight for each class of travel.
  • (18) Access by HON Circle card and a boarding pass valid for the departure day and airport for a flight operated by Lufthansa, a Lufthansa airline partner, Germanwings or a STAR Alliance member airline. In Vienna: access by HON Circle card and a boarding pass valid for the departure day and airport for a flight booked with and operated by Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS or LOT Polish Airlines.
